Организатор:
Департамент „Администрация и управление

Водещи:
Prof. Dr. Svitlana Kashuba
Ing. Michal Řepka, Ph.D.

The guest lecture block provides an overview of Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM), bridging classical management theories with contemporary digital transformation. The first part establishes a foundation in MCDM methodologies, while the second explores how artificial intelligence and neural networks can optimize complex organizational decisions. The lectures demonstrate how integrating advanced computational tools with traditional analytical approaches enables more precise and effective managerial decision-making in dynamic and uncertain environments.

Prof. WSG Dr. Svitlana Kashuba is a specialist in engineering and technical sciences, with a specialization in computer science and telecommunications. She is a graduate of the program "Computer Control Systems and Automation" and holds a Doctor of Technical Sciences degree in the field of information technologies. She is a professor at WSG University  and an Honorary Professor of the Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics (Ukraine). She is the author of 111 publications. Her research interests focus on artificial intelligence, mathematical modeling, and data analysis, particularly in technical and economic applications. Her teaching style combines theoretical foundations with practical case studies and interactive problem-solving.

Ing. Michal Řepka, Ph.D. is an experienced academic specializing for over 20 years in mechatronics, robotics, automation, and the implementation of artificial intelligence methods. During his 17-year tenure at VŠB,  Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), he combined teaching with leading practical technical projects, including interdisciplinary cooperation with economic departments. His career is characterized by a strong connection between theory and industrial practice. For more than 12 years, he has also maintained intensive international cooperation with WSG University in Bydgoszcz (Poland).
