The “Digital Accessibility” seminar aims to raise awareness, inform, and train participants on the key issues, best practices, and tools related to digital accessibility. This topic has become increasingly relevant since June 28, 2025, when the European Accessibility Act (Directive EU 2019/882) came into effect, requiring companies, especially in multimedia, e-commerce, and mass distribution sectors, to apply accessibility standards in order to address the needs of elderly people and people with disabilities. The goal is to understand the different types of disabilities, learn the basics of accessible design, and get hands-on experience with accessibility audits. The program combines theoretical input, real-life examples, practical demonstrations, and interactive discussions to foster collaborative learning.
