The 19^th International Conference on Computer Science and Education in Computer Science (CSECS) was held on 28 and 29 June 2023 at the University of Boston (Metropolitan College), USA. The conference is organized traditionally in rotation between New Bulgarian University, Boston University, and University of Applied Sciences, Fulda, Germany on-site and remotely.

Sixteen works authored by the faculty members of the Department of Informatics (NBU) have been presented. They will be published in the Conference Proceedings with Springer Publishing House, Germany, and indexed in Scopus with SJR.

The conference has been sponsored by the Central Fund for Strategic Planning of NBU and the European Alliance for Innovation.

A record-breaking number of papers authored by students have been presented. Many of the them are interdisciplinary and concern implementations of computer science in biology, medicine, ecology, banking, and project management including modern methods of education in computer science. Special session on mathematical models and methods in computer science including chryptography, machine learning, big data analyses and retrieval of knowledge from data have been also organized.
